For our second National Season tour of 2018 Beethoven Widmann Beethoven we are collaborating with Andy Packer, theatre-maker and director of theatre company Slingsby, to bring the stage to life.

We’ve been spending time with Andy in our studio, talking about the life and work of the composers…

and the characteristics of the works.

We’re experimenting with how programmatic direction and lighting can add to the performed music…

and we’re peering deeper into the shadows.

We can’t wait to perform the fully realised production all around the country in June/July!
