This concert champions an exciting generation of Australian voices and their music which is equal parts animated, reflective and atmospheric. The night will culminate with Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 9 – a vibrant work of masterful contrast and counterpoint that conjures up ecstatic moments, brimming with energy.
