The Australian String Quartet is delighted to appear at the inaugural 2022 Coffs Harbour Festival of Chamber Music presented by the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium.
For this Festival Opening Concert we begin with a World Premiere from composer Manduway Dutton for didgeridoo and string quartet. Following this will be Tchaikovsky’s lyrical, dramatic and moving String Quartet No.1.
To finish the concert will be a rousing performance of the radiant third Razumovsky quartet from Beethoven, concluding with its triumphant finale, which earned it the nickname ‘Eroica’ (Heroic).
